Apprentice Early Years Educator at Circadian Nest Nursery 🌟
Ready to kickstart your career in early years education? Circadian Nest Nursery, a brand-new, cozy setting at Donnington Doorstep Family Centre in East Oxford, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! We care for children from birth to school age, and as our Apprentice Early Years Educator, you'll dive headfirst into all aspects of childcare. Supported by our experienced Level 6 Manager and Level 3 Deputy, you'll gain hands-on experience, primarily in our baby and two-year-olds' rooms. You'll be a vital part of our close-knit team, helping to plan awesome activities, build amazing bonds with the little ones, and connect with their families. By the time you finish your apprenticeship, you'll be a confident, qualified Early Years Educator, equipped with practical skills in a truly nurturing environment. 🌱
What you'll be doing:
- Helping to plan and run fun activities that follow the EYFS framework 🎨
- Keeping our baby and toddler rooms a safe, chill, and exciting place to be ✨
- Building strong, loving connections with your key children and their families ❤️
- Noting down each child's progress and helping them on their learning journey 📝
- Assisting with daily routines like mealtimes, nappy changes, and nap times 🍼
- Always making sure we're meeting top standards for hygiene, safeguarding, and safety ✅
- Attending training sessions and completing your coursework while you learn on the job 📚

Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and stimulating environment across the baby and toddler rooms
- Build warm, secure attachments with key children and positive relationships with their families
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys and next steps
- Assist with daily care routines including mealtimes, nappy changes, and rest periods
