As part of our team, you'll assist Registered Nurses with essential care, helping patients with everyday tasks like:

  • Making patients comfortable and helping them move πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ
  • Monitoring patients and performing basic health checks 🩺
  • Assisting with washing, dressing, and toileting needs 🧼
  • Serving meals and supporting patients with feeding 🍎
  • Documenting the care you provide with accuracy and professionalism πŸ“

As you progress to a Senior HCW (Band 3) role, you'll gain the skills to perform a range of clinical duties independently, including:

  • Monitoring blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates πŸ“ˆ
  • Checking glucose levels 🩸
  • Collecting and testing urine and faecal samples, plus wound swabs πŸ”¬

This apprenticeship is your pathway to gaining valuable knowledge and skills specific to your role. You'll achieve a Level 3 Healthcare qualification and will be supported to gain your Care Certificate (if you haven't already!).
