Ready to kickstart your career in tech? We're looking for a motivated IT Support Apprentice to join our awesome team! You'll be the first point of contact for our users, tackling IT challenges and learning the ropes in a dynamic environment. 🚀
What you'll be doing:
- Help Desk Hero: Log, sort, and prioritise IT issues and requests coming in via phone, email, or our internal system. 📞📧
- Problem Solver: Provide top-notch first-line support, figuring out hardware, software, and network glitches. 💡
- Tech Troubleshooter: Fix common problems, keeping users in the loop, and knowing when to call in the big guns for tricky stuff. 🤝
- Hardware Guru: Check out and fix meeting room tech (screens, video conferencing, audio), and get new PCs and laptops ready to go. 🖥️🖱️
- Setup Superstar: Install and configure Windows 11, software, and updates. Connect and troubleshoot all sorts of peripherals like monitors, printers, and webcams. 🔌
- Network Navigator: Help out with basic network and connectivity checks (cables, Wi-Fi) and connect equipment to the network. 🌐
- Business Systems Buddy: Get familiar with our core business systems (ERP, EPOS) and offer first-line support. 📈
- Access All Areas (Almost!): Assist with setting up user accounts and handling routine access/password requests. 🔑
- Asset Tracker: Keep our IT equipment records tidy and help manage the lifecycle of devices. 📦
- Documentation Dynamo: Help create user guides and technical docs, and spot trends to make things even better! ✍️
What you'll be learning:
- Apprenticeship Pro: You'll be working towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, with dedicated study time. 📚
- Mentorship Magic: Shadow experienced IT pros and grow your skills from supervised tasks to taking charge of your own work. 🌱
- Tech Whiz: Gain hands-on experience with all sorts of IT tools, processes, and best practices. 🛠️

Key responsibilities
- Log, categorise, and prioritise IT faults and service requests
- Provide first-line support, diagnosing and resolving routine hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Prepare, install, configure, test, and deploy PCs, laptops, and associated equipment
- Assist with user account setup, access, and password requests in line with authorised procedures
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and contribute to technical documentation
