What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing tailored support to pupils as guided by the teacher, helping them grow in confidence and take ownership of their learning and actions. 💪
• Building awesome connections with students by communicating in ways they can easily understand and engage with. 🗣️
• Fostering a positive and respectful classroom vibe, encouraging pupils to interact constructively with each other. 🤝
• Championing great behaviour through positive reinforcement and consistent application of our Academy's policies. ✨
• Assisting with personal care needs, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all. 🧼
• Supervising and engaging pupils in play activities, from toys and games to imaginative role-play, all under the teacher's direction. 🧸
• Supporting language development and other learning activities as planned by the teacher. 📚
• Overseeing individual and group activities, ensuring everyone is engaged and on track. 🎯
• Managing playground breaks, promoting positive interactions, and stepping in to address any behaviour issues, escalating when needed. ⚽
• Ensuring smooth and positive mealtimes in the dining area, encouraging good manners and reporting any concerns to senior staff. 🍔

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with day-to-day pupil support.
• Provide specified support to pupils, encouraging independence and responsibility.
• Promote positive pupil behaviour and establish good relationships.
• Assist pupils with personal care and supervised activities.
• Supervise pupils during breaks and in the dining area.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade 4 or above (Level 2)), Maths (grade 4 or above (Level 2)))
