Ready to make a real impact and help people quit for good? As a Stop Smoking Advisor, your typical day will be all about empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- 🚀 Delivering Game-Changing Support: You'll be at the forefront of evidence-based interventions, focusing on smoking cessation, behavior change, and psychological support. Your mission? To save lives by helping smokers quit for good!
- 🤝 Running Awesome Clinics: Lead stop smoking clinics in various settings, working with clients one-on-one and in groups. You’ll be the go-to person for their quitting journey.
- 🤝 Teaming Up for Success: Collaborate with partner organizations and colleagues in Primary Care to boost client uptake and smash those targets. Teamwork makes the dream work!
- 🌟 Tailoring Programs: Develop and adapt programs to support specific priority groups, ensuring everyone gets the support they need to succeed.
- 💯 Ensuring Top-Notch Experience: Guarantee an excellent and safe experience for all clients, aligning with our policies and procedures. Your clients' well-being is our top priority.
- 📚 Level Up Your Skills: Engage in essential training like NCSCT Stop Smoking, Behavior Change Level 1 & 2, and anything else that helps you shine in your role. Continuous learning is key!

Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based smoking cessation interventions.
- Run stop smoking clinics, working with clients on a one-to-one and group basis.
- Work with partner organisations and colleagues to improve patient uptake.
- Provide tailored or adapted programmes for specific priority groups.
- Ensure an excellent and safe experience for clients, in alignment with policies and procedures.
