Teaching Assistant (Pre-Prep) 🍎
Are you passionate about helping young minds grow and flourish? ✨ We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Pre-Prep team, working under the guidance of our Head of Pre-Prep and our amazing class teachers. 📚
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our learning environment, providing crucial support to students in various settings:
- In Class: Work alongside teachers to foster an engaging and productive classroom atmosphere. 🏫
- Small Groups & One-to-One: Deliver targeted support in areas like reading 📖, phonics 🗣️, handwriting 💪, and maths ➕.
- Resource & Display Preparation: Get creative with preparing exciting learning resources and eye-catching displays. 🎨
- Assessment & Record-Keeping: Play a key role in supporting assessment processes and maintaining accurate records. 📝
- Pastoral Care & Behaviour: Contribute to a nurturing environment by supporting student well-being and positive behaviour. 🤗
- Activity Supervision: Supervise children during breaks 🥪, lunch 🍎, and after-school care. 🚀
- Outdoor & Sports Support: Assist with exciting activities like Forest School 🌳, PE and Games ⚽, swimming 🏊♀️, and school trips 🚌.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of all pupils.
- Prepare and organise learning materials and the classroom environment.
- Assist with the collection of evidence for assessment purposes.
- Contribute to the care and well-being of pupils.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality at all times. 🛡️
