Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow and administrative efficiency. 🌟
What you'll be doing:
- 🚀 Managing Appointments: Process incoming telephone requests for appointments, visits, and telephone consultations with accuracy and speed, ensuring they reach the right healthcare professional.
- ✉️ Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- 🏠 Home Visit Coordination: Accurately record all necessary details for home visit requests and, when needed, liaise with the duty doctor.
- 💊 Prescription Management: Handle the ordering and collection of repeat prescriptions.
- 🗣️ General Enquiries: Respond to all general patient enquiries, clearly explain procedures, and schedule new and follow-up appointments.
- 📝 Information Management: Take messages, accurately pass on information, and perform computer data entry, processing tasks, and recording information in line with practice procedures.
- 🤝 Interdepartmental Communication: Initiate contact with and respond to requests from patients, team members, and other healthcare agencies and providers.
- ✨ Maintaining a Welcoming Environment: Keep consulting rooms stocked and clear, and ensure the reception area, noticeboards, and leaflet dispensers are tidy, organized, and free of clutter.
