As an apprentice, you'll play a key role in supporting our qualified staff, ensuring every child's safety and well-being is our top priority. You'll get hands-on experience in:

  • Supervising and supporting children, following guidance from experienced educators, and making sure they're safe and have access to exciting learning opportunities.
  • Being a flexible team player, ready to help with various tasks like preparing snacks ๐Ÿ“, keeping our learning spaces clean and tidy ๐Ÿงผ, and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Building amazing relationships with children, interacting with them based on their individual needs and personalities. ๐Ÿค—
  • Championing inclusivity and making sure every child feels welcomed and accepted. ๐Ÿ’–
  • Encouraging children to explore, cooperate with their peers, and dive into all sorts of fun activities. ๐Ÿงธ
  • Providing top-notch care โ€“ physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually โ€“ for our little ones. ๐ŸŒˆ
  • Assisting with personal care duties, such as feeding ๐Ÿฅ„, changing nappies, and administering medication when required.

Key responsibilities

  • Undertake learning activities with individual children and groups, under the guidance of qualified educators.
  • Support qualified staff in curriculum delivery, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.
  • Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care, including personal care such as feeding and changing.
  • Establish good working relationships with children, promoting inclusion, acceptance, and interaction.
  • Undertake flexible duties where needed, including domestic tasks, snack preparation, and equipment cleansing.
