What you'll be doing:
- Supercharging Learning: Team up with awesome teachers to boost learning activities and help pupils understand everything! ๐ You'll be key in supporting independent learning and making sure everyone feels included. ๐ค
- Bringing Lessons to Life: Help put planned learning activities into action, adapting them based on how pupils are responding. You'll be involved in planning and feedback sessions, sharing your insights on pupil progress. ๐
- Keeping Things Running Smoothly: Support teachers with behaviour management and helping pupils stay focused. You'll help prepare and provide resources for lessons, keeping everything safe and sound. ๐
- Nurturing Growth: Champion pupils' social and emotional well-being, flagging any concerns to the teacher. You'll also support pupils with SEND needs and share important information with parents, carers, and other professionals. ๐
- Building Skills: Help other teaching assistants and volunteers shine in the classroom. You'll assist with record-keeping, supervision on educational trips, and keeping the learning environment tidy and safe. ๐งน
- Play & Beyond: Facilitate learning through engaging play and planned activities. You might even help with administering medication (with agreement and training!) and assisting with personal care needs, always encouraging independence. ๐คฒ
- Team Player: Be a vital part of our school community! You'll follow all safeguarding and data protection policies, show duty of care, and promote equal opportunities for all. You'll build great relationships with colleagues and contribute to the school's amazing ethos. ๐ช

Key responsibilities
- Support pupils with learning activities, fostering independence and inclusion.
- Assist teachers in behaviour management and the implementation of planned lessons.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback under teacher guidance.
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children, including basic first aid.
- Comply with school policies relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection.
