  • Fit specialist: Measure frames to ensure they’re the right size and can accommodate lenses.
  • Comfort adjuster: Fine-tune spectacle frames for a perfect, comfortable fit.
  • Minor repairs: Handle basic frame adjustments and fixes.
  • Lens expert: Gain knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, tints, and coatings to meet customer needs.
  • Order placer: Process orders for prescription glasses and contact lenses.
  • Admin whiz: Complete NHS paperwork and records accurately. 📝
  • Appointment setter: Schedule follow-up appointments for customers.
  • Focimeter pro: Use equipment to determine existing prescriptions from spectacles.
  • Contact lens communicator: Explain the ins and outs of contact lenses.
  • Pre-screening tester: Conduct tests like retinal imaging, pressure, and visual field checks.

Key responsibilities

  • Greeting customers and assisting with spectacle frame selection.
  • Interpreting prescriptions and explaining features of optical products.
