Ready to dive into the exciting world of events and make a real impact? Impact Initiatives is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Events & Engagement Assistant! This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, get involved, and help us connect with our community. 🌟

What You'll Be Doing:

• Event Rockstar: Help us bring awesome events to life! You'll support the planning and execution of everything from conferences and networking events to public-facing initiatives. This includes setting up stands, chatting with the public, and representing our charity. 🤝
• Team Player: You'll be key in coordinating event details – think promotion, bookings, materials, working with speakers, managing attendees, and even helping with post-event feedback. 🗓️
• Challenge Champion: Get involved with our third-party and challenge events, which might include some evening and weekend work. Your mission? To recruit and support participants, keep them in the loop with awesome communication, and make them feel super valued. You'll also be on the ground at events, offering support and helping with the practical stuff. 🏃‍♀️
• Community Builder: Help us connect with local businesses and potential corporate partners. You'll support our outreach efforts via email, phone, social media, and in-person. Building and keeping great relationships with our supporters is crucial, so you'll help with communication and finding new ways to collaborate. You'll also represent Impact Initiatives at relevant networking events (some evenings/weekends too!). 🏢
• Brand Guardian: Ensure our amazing brand is looking its best everywhere! You'll help create eye-catching, accessible marketing materials for both digital and print, sticking to our brand guidelines. Keeping our templates, image libraries, and assets organised will be a big plus. 🎨
• Content Creator: Support our marketing campaigns by writing and editing engaging copy that reflects our tone of voice. You'll help gather inspiring stories, case studies, and photos from our team and community, always following our safeguarding rules. You'll also help promote opportunities for individual giving and legacies with sensitive, audience-focused communications. ✍️
• Digital Dynamo: Get a taste of digital marketing! You'll help with SEO basics, monitor website content, and potentially assist with paid digital campaigns. Using analytics to see what's working and what could be improved is key. Staying on top of digital trends and regulations is part of the fun! 📈
• Awards Ace: Help us shine! You'll research opportunities for awards and recognition for Impact Initiatives. Managing an awards calendar, coordinating deadlines, and gathering compelling evidence and stories for applications will be part of your role. ✨
