• Explaining frame features and benefits clearly and simply. ✅
• Measuring frames to ensure a perfect fit for lenses. 📏
• Adjusting frames for maximum comfort and stability. 👌
• Tackling basic frame repairs. 🔧
• Becoming an expert on lenses, tints, and coatings to meet customer needs. 💡
• Ordering prescription glasses and contact lenses. 📦
• Handling NHS paperwork and records accurately. 📝
• Scheduling follow-up appointments. 🗓️
• Using a focimeter to read existing prescriptions. 🔍
• Explaining contact lens options and benefits. 💧
• Performing pre-screening tests (like retinal imaging!). 📸
• Promoting our awesome offers and products. 🎉
• Taking payments. 💰
• Solving basic optical issues like a pro. 🧠
• Understanding how our business performance affects practice success. 📈

Key responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Interpreting and understanding a clinically issued prescription.
• Helping customers select and fit suitable spectacle frame(s).
• Carrying out pre-screening tests such as retinal imaging and pressure and visual field testing.
• Correct completion of NHS paperwork and written records in-line with company procedures.

GCSE in: (English (grade Grade 4/C or above), Maths (grade Grade 4/C or above))
