About the role

✨ Junior Design Apprentice ✨

Want to dive headfirst into the awesome world of creative design? Glendale Creative, a studio with 20+ years of awesome global client work under our belt (think print, digital, and even physical spaces! 🌍), is on the hunt for a Junior Design Apprentice. This is your golden ticket to learn the ropes of a real creative studio, boost your confidence with design tools, and nail those essential skills like understanding briefs, smashing feedback, and crushing deadlines. 🚀

Here's how you'll be making magic happen:

  • 🎨 Artwork Updates: You'll be refreshing existing designs and artwork based on clear briefs and super helpful guidance.
  • 📦 File Prep: Get ready to prepare artwork and assets for both print and digital, mastering exports, formats, and specs.
  • 🛍️ Production Support: Help out with print and merchandise production by chatting with suppliers and keeping track of where things are at.
  • 💡 Creative Research: Scout for cool creative references and suppliers to help fuel our amazing briefs.
  • 📁 Organization Guru: Keep our file structures super tidy with smart naming, version control, and easy handover – you'll be a pro!
  • ✅ Quality Control: Be our watchful eye, ensuring all assets are supplied perfectly.
  • ✉️ Admin Ace: Handle job-related admin, like sorting couriers, tracking deliveries, and keeping our Glendale PMS updated.
  • ⏰ Time Management Pro: Learn to plan and prioritize your tasks like a boss to meet deadlines in a fast-paced commercial studio.

As you grow your skills and confidence, there'll be chances to jump into client event support (think checklists and logistics!) and even level up your Adobe skills in layout, typography, and image editing. Get ready to create! 🔥
