What you'll be doing:

  • Keeping things Safe & Sound:
  • Help create and manage our health and safety game plans. 📋
  • Make sure we're following all the rules and regulations for a healthy and safe workplace. ✅
  • Be a detective, identifying potential hazards across different teams. 🕵️‍♂️
  • Organize and join in on safety meetings and training sessions. 🤝
  • Protecting Our Planet:
  • Support efforts to develop and implement environmental policies. 🌳
  • Keep track of our environmental performance – like waste, energy use, and emissions. 📊
  • Work with teams to make sure hazardous materials are handled like VIPs. 🌟
  • Investigating & Improving:
  • Maintain records of any accidents or close calls. 📝
  • Help figure out what happened in incidents and how we can prevent them. 🤔
  • Follow up on actions to make sure they're actually making a difference. 👍
  • Staying Organized:
  • Keep accurate records of audits, training, and certifications. 📁
  • Help prepare reports on our HSE performance. 📈
  • Assist with paperwork for audits. 📑
  • Spreading the Word:
  • Help organize and schedule HSE training programs. 🗓️
  • Assist in creating training materials. 📚
  • Ensure all training records are on point. 💯
  • Checking & Rechecking:
  • Assist with regular checks to ensure our workplace is meeting HSE standards. 🧐
  • Help coordinate fixes based on audit findings. 🛠️
  • Being the Go-To:
  • Be a friendly point of contact for HSE questions. 👋
  • Share HSE updates and info with everyone. 📢
  • Chat with external experts on HSE matters. 🌐

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate records for compliance, incidents, training, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments, workplace audits, and incident investigations to identify corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and assist in the delivery of health, safety, and environmental training programs for employees.
  • Communicate HSE policies, procedures, and updates, acting as a point of contact for inquiries and concerns.
