What You'll Be Doing:

  • Helping to keep our equipment in top-notch shape – safely, efficiently, and reliably! 💪
  • Learning the ropes from experienced pros while honing your technical abilities. 🧠
  • Assisting with maintenance, servicing, and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. ⚙️
  • Supporting fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing equipment issues under supervision. 🕵️‍♂️
  • Keeping accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure everything's compliant and safe. 📝
  • Pitching in with both planned maintenance and fixing breakdowns to maximise equipment uptime. 🚀
  • Strictly following all health and safety policies, procedures, and using your PPE correctly. 💯
  • Learning and applying safe systems of work, including permit-to-work procedures. ✅
  • Fully committing to your apprenticeship training programme and smashing all learning milestones! 🏆
  • Building awesome working relationships and communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues. 🤝
  • Attending technical training, development sessions, and classroom learning. 📚
  • Assisting with stripping, overhauling, rebuilding, and testing equipment. 🔩
  • Helping to maintain super high housekeeping standards, keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe. ✨

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance, servicing, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Support fault-finding activities and help diagnose and repair equipment issues under supervision
  • Complete maintenance records and associated paperwork to ensure compliance and operational safety
  • Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Engage fully with your apprenticeship training programme and successfully achieve all learning milestones

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade 4/C), Maths (grade 4/C))
