What you'll be doing:
- Spotting Cool Opportunities: You'll be on the ground, identifying where our youth programmes can have the biggest impact and create exciting new initiatives. 📍
- Empowering Young Voices: Work directly with young people and their communities to plan, build, and even evaluate programmes. Your ideas and theirs matter! 🗣️
- Spreading the Word: Help us promote the programme so everyone who wants to get involved knows about it and feels welcome. 📣
- Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Be part of a team that involves young people in making decisions, giving them responsibility to lead projects and support each other. 🤝
- Supporting Growth: Respond to the needs of individuals and groups, helping young people boost their self-awareness and confidence. ✨
- Making it Happen: Directly deliver or support the delivery of youth work programmes, which might even include awesome residential trips! 🏕️
- Level Up Your Skills: Participate in regular supervision to identify your learning goals, take responsibility for your own development, and complete all necessary training and qualifications within your first 18 months. 📚
- Safety First: Strictly follow child protection guidelines, reporting any concerns through the correct channels. You'll also play a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. ✅

Key responsibilities
- Identify areas of need and opportunity within the community for youth work programmes
- Negotiate with young people and their communities on their involvement in programme planning
- Support the direct delivery of youth work programmes as required
- Involve young people in decision-making processes
- Adhere to Child Protection Guidelines and health and safety procedures
