Ready to make a real impact? IMO Charity is looking for a creative and driven individual to join our team as a Social Media & Digital Content Creator! If youβre passionate about using your digital skills to spread awareness and engage diverse audiences, this is the role for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Own Our Socials: Dive into managing IMO Charity's Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You'll be creating scroll-stopping posts, crafting catchy captions, and building content calendars that keep our followers hooked. Get ready to experiment with Reels and Stories! π±β¨
- Content is King/Queen: Design eye-catching graphics, posters, and digital content using tools like Canva. You'll also be behind the lens, capturing awesome photos and videos at our events and programmes, and then editing them into shareable short-form content. πΈπ¬
- Marketing Maestro: Help us plan and execute awesome marketing campaigns to promote our programmes, events, and volunteering opportunities. Think flyers, posters, presentations, and even email campaigns! Let's get the word out! π£
- Website Whisperer: Keep our website fresh and informative by updating news, programme details, and event listings. You'll also get a taste of SEO and digital marketing. π
- Campaign Champion: Support the promotion of our exciting events and key initiatives. Your content will be crucial in raising awareness and driving participation. π
- Data Detective: Keep an eye on our social media performance, track engagement, and help put together reports. Use insights to make our future campaigns even better! π
- Team Player: Collaborate with our programme teams, share your brilliant ideas in meetings, and build great working relationships across the charity. You'll also represent IMO Charity professionally at external events. π€

Key responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of social media channels, including content creation and monitoring.
- Create graphics, videos, and other digital content using relevant design software.
- Assist with the development and delivery of marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Support the updating of website content and digital communications.
- Monitor social media performance and assist with marketing reports.
