What you'll be doing:
Your journey starts with mastering air tightness testing. You'll be out and about at brand-new housing developments across the UK, getting hands-on experience assessing how well buildings keep that precious heat locked in. 🔥➡️❄️
As you grow, you'll dive into a range of crucial skills, including:
- Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs): Becoming a go-to for energy efficiency ratings. 📊
- Retrofit Assessments: Helping to improve the energy performance of existing homes. 🛠️
- Ventilation Testing: Ensuring our buildings breathe right. 🌬️
- Cavity Wall Inspections: Checking for insulation effectiveness. 🧱
- Building Performance Surveys: Getting the full picture of how buildings work. 🕵️♀️
- Collecting and analysing energy performance data: Turning numbers into actionable insights. 💻
As part of your apprenticeship, you'll get to:
