Job Title: Learning Support Assistant πβ¨

What you'll be doing:
- Championing children's learning, development, confidence, and independence. π
- Providing personalized support to individuals and small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), physical, emotional, and other learning challenges. π§
- Teaming up with teachers to assist with lessons, literacy, numeracy, assessments, and individual learning plans. ππ’
- Motivating pupils with positive reinforcement, praise, and patient guidance, helping them smash their goals. πͺ
- Tracking and recording pupil progress, spotting concerns, and sharing insights with teachers and relevant pros. π
- Fostering positive behaviour and helping kids build crucial social, emotional, communication, and self-help skills. π€π£οΈ
- Adapting and prepping learning activities and resources to suit every student's unique abilities. π¨
- Providing support with personal care, mobility, feeding, and other welfare needs as needed, following school guidelines. π§
- Helping to implement programmes recommended by specialists like educational psychologists and speech and language therapists. π©ββοΈ
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning space, upholding safeguarding and health & safety standards. π‘οΈ
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, colleagues, and external professionals for consistent pupil support. π€
- Chipping in with PE, swimming, trips, group activities, and daily classroom routines. πββοΈ
- Cultivating a positive classroom vibe that sparks independence, self-esteem, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. π‘
