Apprentice Construction Technician 🛠️

You'll work under the guidance of experienced supervisors and construction managers, playing a key role in bringing designs to life. 🏗️

What You'll Be Doing:

• On-Site Support: Assist with detailed site surveys and verify installations match design plans. 📐
• Material Prep: Help get materials ready before site work begins. 📦
• Problem Solving: Discuss construction methods and potential challenges with the construction team. 🤝
• Safety First: Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the Rule Book and safe systems of work. Your safety and the safety of others is paramount. 🛡️
• Issue Resolution: Refer any installation issues to your supervisor or the on-site engineer. 👂
• Team Collaboration: Attend planning, progress, and technical meetings as required. 🗓️
• Learning & Development: Fully commit to all required training, induction courses, and your Level 3 apprenticeship programme. 🌱
• Flexible Working: Be prepared to work weekends and nights as per the roster. 🌙
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement appropriate control measures to keep everyone safe. 💡
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets the highest quality standards and perform on-site quality checks. ✅

• Investigation Support: Assist with accident and incident reporting and investigations as instructed. 🔎
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate site records. ✍️
• Critical Support: Support safety-critical and safety-of-the-line activities. 🚦

Key responsibilities

• Support detailed site surveys and check installations against the design.
• Support the preparation of materials ahead of site work.
• Discuss construction and constructability issues with the construction team.
• Follow all safety-critical processes, including the Rule Book and safe systems of work.
• Attend all required training and induction courses, including the Level 3 apprenticeship programme.
