We're on the lookout for someone enthusiastic and organised to support two crucial teams:
- The Governance Team: They're the wizards behind our formal decision-making processes. Think: making sure our National Council and Executive Board meetings happen seamlessly, managing important policies like Conflicts of Interest, and ensuring we're always ticking all the legal and regulatory boxes. π
- The Information Team: These are our data gurus! They advise on all things information and data, handle public and journalist requests (hello, Freedom of Information!), manage any data breaches, and keep us all compliant with data protection rules. π‘οΈ
What you'll be doing (it's a mix!):
- Handling Freedom of Information (FOI) and GDPR requests β making sure our responses are spot on and on time. π
- Helping organise governance meetings, from prepping agendas and papers to taking minutes. βοΈ
- Keeping our website and intranet up-to-date with all things governance and information. π
- Assisting with data breach responses, records management, and keeping our information super secure. π
- Providing general admin support, like sorting out purchase orders and invoices. π§Ύ
- Supporting our National Council members with records and expenses.
- Digging into research on governance, data protection, and new ways to manage information. π§
- Providing admin and diary support to the Director of Governance and Planning. ποΈ
- Helping out with responses to Parliamentary Questions and other team activities.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinating Freedom of Information (FOI) and GDPR requests, ensuring responses are accurate, timely and compliant with legislation
- Supporting governance meetings and committees, including agendas, papers, minutes and meeting logistics
- Maintaining and updating website and intranet content relating to governance and information management
- Supporting data breach management, records management, archiving, copyright and information security
- Providing administrative support, including purchase orders, invoice processing and maintaining key records
