What you'll be doing:

  • Helping teachers deliver awesome learning activities by getting all the cool resources ready. 📚
  • Supporting curriculum activities, making sure students hit those learning goals by following teachers' awesome plans. 🎯
  • Encouraging students to be independent learners by showing them how, giving them support, asking great questions, and cheering them on! 🙌 You'll use your understanding of each student's unique journey to help them progress.
  • Leading small groups or individuals in learning activities, and adapting them on the fly if needed to keep things engaging and on track. 💡
  • Keeping an eye on student progress towards learning goals and letting the teacher know how everyone's doing – the good stuff and any challenges. 📈
  • Helping students level up their independence, moving from guided learning to figuring things out themselves using school-approved strategies. 💪
  • Being a tech whiz and using IT to boost learning. 💻
  • Supporting the development of reading, writing, and math skills for all students, no matter their background or starting point. ✍️➕➖✖️

  • Helping out with marking routine tests where the answers are super clear. ✅
  • Supporting students during tests when needed. 📝
