About the role
Get your hands dirty and grow your career! 🌿 We're looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our team and become a garden guru. You'll dive into everything from precision hedge trimming and vibrant herbaceous borders to nurturing plants in our glasshouses and keeping our lawns looking sharp. ✂️ We'll teach you the ropes on all the seasonal essentials: planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, and all things garden care. Plus, you'll get to assist with propagation, potting, and keeping our specimen trees and ornamental features in top shape. You'll also be part of the prep for special events and visits! 📅
We need someone with a real passion for gardening, horticulture, or just being outdoors. A strong work ethic and a hunger to learn are a must! 💪

Key responsibilities
- Working alongside gardeners on the maintenance of gardens, grounds, and glasshouses.
- Learning and carrying out seasonal tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, and hedge-cutting.
- Assisting with propagation, potting, and plant care.
- Helping maintain lawns, pathways, hard landscaping, and ornamental features.
- Taking part in college or training provider study as part of your apprenticeship.
