What you'll be doing:

• Keeping track of shipment statuses so everyone's in the loop. 📲
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers – get ready for a workout! 💪
• Potentially handling some pretty cool stuff, like perishables, dangerous goods, and even IT equipment! 🍎☢️💻
• Getting involved in Ocean or Air Freight processing – think packing, marking, labeling, and sorting. ✈️🚢
• Supporting the Handling Team Leader to smash our operational goals. 🎯
• Helping to ensure contractors are playing by our quality rules. 👍
• Being the communication MVP, building solid relationships with your crew and customer truckers. 🗣️
• Managing daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities. 📥📤
• Logging all deliveries with precision. ✍️
• Doing random checks on inbound and outbound cargo to make sure everything's tip-top. 👀
• Keeping our warehouse looking sharp and super organized. ✨
• Being a safety superstar – strictly following our warehouse safety and security policies. 🛡️
• Using warehouse tools and equipment the right way. 🛠️
• Reporting any incidents immediately because safety first, always! 🚨
• Jumping into regular cycle counting to keep inventory accurate. 💯
• Maintaining neat and tidy transaction files. 📁

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in daily warehouse operations and cargo movement
• Performing loading and unloading of trucks or containers
• Processing Ocean or Air Freight (packing and/or cargo), e.g. marking, neutralisation, labelling, sorting
• Recording all inbound/outbound deliveries and maintaining good transaction files
• Observing and following warehouse safety and security policy and procedures, and maintaining cleanliness
