What You'll Be Doing:

• Measuring and prepping ingredients like a pro for daily bakes. 📏
• Mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking all sorts of deliciousness under expert guidance. 🧑‍🍳
• Getting hands-on with bakery equipment (mixers, provers, ovens) safely and confidently. ⚙️
• Keeping an eye on dough development and baking consistency like a hawk. 👀
• Following recipes to a T for consistently amazing results. 📝
• Making sure our finished goods look, taste, and feel top-notch. 👌
• Championing food safety, hygiene, and allergen control like a boss. 🛡️
• Keeping our bakery sparkling clean, organised, and always ready for inspection. ✨
• Helping out with stock rotation and ingredient management to cut down waste and keep things fresh. 🍎
• Reporting any stock shortages, equipment hiccups, or quality concerns to the Senior Baker ASAP. 🗣️

Key responsibilities

• Weigh, measure and prepare ingredients accurately for daily production
• Mix, shape, prove and bake sourdoughs, artisan breads and speciality products
• Learn to safely operate bakery equipment
• Monitor fermentation, dough development and baking consistency throughout production
• Check finished products meet required standards
