What You'll Be Doing:
- Morning & Evening Support: Help clients start their day right and wind down smoothly, assisting with getting up, going to bed, dressing/undressing, washing, bathing, and toileting. πΏπ
- Mobility & Independence: Support clients with their physical needs, including managing mobility challenges and using personal aids and equipment. We're all about empowering independence! π±
- Temporary & Respite Care: Provide comforting care for clients who are temporarily unwell and need bed nursing and assistance with feeding. π²
- End-of-Life Care: Offer dedicated and compassionate support to clients who are terminally ill. π
- Engagement & Well-being: Brighten clients' days by promoting mental and physical activities. This could involve chatting, going on outings, reading, writing, and enjoying hobbies and recreation. π£οΈππ¨
- Home Comforts: Help keep clients' living spaces comfortable by making and changing beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes, and general tidying. ποΈπ§Ή
- Wardrobe Management: Inspect, launder, and mend clients' clothes. π§Ίπ
- Meal Preparation: Set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, and handle the cleanup afterwards. πβ
- Record Keeping & Teamwork: Maintain clear records by writing reports and actively participating in client reviews and training sessions. βοΈ
- Following Best Practices: Always adhere to Caremark's policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care. β
- Communication is Key: Report any significant changes in a client's health or circumstances to your Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager. π£
