Are you passionate about making a real difference and sparking joy for kids? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Playwork Apprentices! This is your chance to dive into the exciting world of childcare and education, supporting children across all key stages. π§π§
What you'll be doing:
- Working directly with pupils, leading awesome playwork activities. π¨β½
- Supporting our Ofsted-registered wraparound care β think breakfast clubs, after-school sessions, and fun lunchtime activities! βοΈπ
- Delivering engaging play, crafts, and sports sessions that kids will love. β¨
- Providing targeted interventions to boost pupil learning. π
- Getting involved in holiday camps and making them epic! ποΈ
- Supporting our youngest learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). π±
- Setting up and arranging resources to create dynamic learning spaces. π οΈ
- Conducting risk assessments to ensure a super safe and secure environment. β
- Planning and delivering high-quality play sessions in a caring setting. β€οΈ
- Making sure our environment is inclusive and meets the needs of all children, including those with SEN. π€
- Actively seeking childrenβs views and involving them in activity planning. π£οΈ
- Facilitating child-centered play, encouraging safe risks and challenges. πͺ
- Helping prepare nutritious snacks and promoting independence. π
- Crucially, Safeguarding Children: understanding and applying safeguarding procedures, reporting concerns immediately, and maintaining confidential records. π‘οΈ
- Providing care for children, including safe collections and handovers. πΆββοΈβ‘οΈπ¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
- Understanding the specific needs and additional roles related to EYFS children. π
