What you'll be doing:
- Using tools and computers to find and diagnose problems. 💻
- Chatting with customers to explain what repairs are needed. 🗣️
- Giving estimates for job times and costs. 💰
- Test driving vehicles to make sure repairs are spot on. 🚗💨
- Fitting tyres. 🛞
- Working on exhausts, batteries, brakes, and general servicing. 🔧🔩
Key responsibilities
- Find and diagnose faults using hand tools or a computer
- Advise customers on what repairs are needed
- Estimate time and costs for jobs
- Road test vehicles to check repairs
- Perform tyre fitting
