Are you ready to kickstart a career in a hands-on industry? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Joinery & Timber Frame Construction Apprentices. This is your chance to gain valuable skills and knowledge in a dynamic and growing sector.
What you'll be doing:
- Dive into ongoing training and development to level up your expertise in joinery and timber frame construction. 📚
- Get involved in manufacturing and assembling timber frame panels, floor cassettes, and wall panels (internal & external). 🏠
- Support various joinery tasks, from prepping materials to handling tools and keeping the workspace tidy. 🧰
- Assist with general labouring and support duties to help our qualified joiners nail their projects. 💪
- Learn to spot hazards, defects, and maintenance needs, ensuring all work follows company procedures, legislation, and health & safety standards. ⚠️
- Collaborate with your Line Manager and colleagues to get work done efficiently and with top-notch quality. ✨
- Stay compliant with all relevant laws, industry standards, company policies, and health & safety regulations. ✅
- Keep accurate records, worksheets, and documentation for all your work. 📝
- Report progress, any bumps in the road, and concerns to your Line Manager promptly. 📢
- Immediately flag any faults, incidents, or health and safety issues that could impact colleagues, customers, or the business. 🚨
- Contribute positively to hitting individual, departmental, and company goals. 🏆
- Follow all company policies, including those on health & safety, attendance, punctuality, teamwork, professionalism, and workplace conduct. 💯
Key responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing training and development to build knowledge and skills within the industry.
- Assist in the manufacture and assembly of timber frame components and support various joinery activities.
- Comply with all company procedures, legislation, health and safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, reporting progress, issues, or concerns in a timely manner.

GCSE in: (English (grade 2), Maths (grade 2))
