Job Title: Pharmacy Automation Technician 💊
Are you ready to be a key player in our fast-paced pharmacy environment? We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team and help us deliver top-notch medication services to our patients. What you'll be doing:
- Processing patient medication files from our five pharmacy branches 📂
- Analyzing prescriptions and identifying medications for manual dispensing 🧐
- Selecting and dispensing external medications into the correct trays and time slots ⏰
- Using barcode scanning systems to ensure accurate medication selection ✅
- Operating the SynMed XF MDS dispensing robot and loading patient trays 🤖
- Monitoring the robot's production process and responding to alerts or errors (like low stock or dispensing issues) 🚨
- Replenishing medication within the robot following strict procedures and barcode checks 💯
- Checking completed MDS trays for accuracy in dispensed medications and slot placement 🕵️♀️
- Verifying tablet appearance and descriptions, noting differences between manufacturers or brands 💡
- Preparing and applying patient-specific MDS cards and seals 🏷️
- Identifying and resolving dispensing and labelling errors or escalating them as needed 🚀
- Preparing completed trays for the pharmacist's final accuracy and clinical check 🤝
- Ordering stock for both the Robot Room and external medication needs 🛒
- Monitoring stock levels, identifying fast-moving items, and ensuring adequate supply 📦
- Receiving deliveries and correctly storing medications 🚚
- Utilizing the pharmacy's PMR and stock/order systems as needed 💻
- Working strictly in accordance with pharmacy procedures, legal requirements, and patient-safety standards 🛡️
