Important Stuff to Know:
- No Sponsorship: Unfortunately, we can't offer sponsorship for these roles.
- UK Residency: You'll need to have been living in the UK for the past 3 years.
- Right to Work: Your right to work in the UK must not expire before March 2028.
As a Band 3 HCA Apprentice, you'll be working alongside our incredible team, providing essential patient care. 💖 You'll assist patients with their personal care (like washing, dressing, and feeding) and support registered nurses. This is a 24/7 service, so expect a mix of shifts – including long days, weekends, and nights (all 12 hours). You'll work approximately 37.5 hours per week. ⏰
Location: Be prepared to work at any of our hospitals, so consider your travel arrangements! 🚗
Pay & Progression:
- Starting Salary: £24,291 - £25,213 per year (Band 3 HCA Apprentice, includes London allowance - depends on location).
- Apprenticeship Duration: Minimum of 13 months.
- After Apprenticeship: Once you successfully complete probation and the apprenticeship, your salary will rise to the bottom of Band 3 under Agenda for Change (£30,630 or £31,554, depending on hospital location). 📈
