What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be the first point of contact, delivering awesome reception and customer service to everyone who walks through our doors or reaches out to us – our clients, visitors, staff, and even tenants! 🤝
- Be the Face of Sheffield Futures: Welcome everyone with a smile at Star House, making them feel valued and informed. 👋
- Connect and Communicate: Chat with the public, representatives from different agencies, and ensure everyone's queries are heard. 🗣️
- Handle the Buzz: Answer phone calls and emails like a pro, directing enquiries to the right place. 📞✉️
- Keep Things Tidy: Help keep our meeting rooms prepped and looking sharp. ☕
- Admin Ace: Accurately input data and keep our records in check. 💻
- Spread the Good Vibes: Contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for everyone. ✨
- Team Player: Support the team with general reception and administrative duties. 📁

Key Responsibilities:
- Reception Excellence:
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all at Star House. 🌟
- Be the go-to person for anyone using our services or looking to connect.
- Answer phones with speed and direct calls accurately. ☎️
- Respond to emails and in-person queries, passing on messages or guiding people where they need to go.
- Maintain security and GDPR compliance by ensuring visitors sign in and have appropriate access. 🔒
- Keep the front-of-house area neat, safe, and inviting. 🌿
- Administrative Support:
- Manage and respond to emails in our service inboxes, updating records as needed. 📧
- Help maintain our internal room booking system. 🗓️
- Handle incoming and outgoing post. 📮
- Accurately input and update vital client data on our systems (including daily input for Door 43). 📊
- Gather essential information to help with our allocation process.
- Communicate allocation outcomes and record actions.
- Book appointments and manage drop-in sessions.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as directed.

Key responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality reception and customer service, including welcoming visitors and acting as a first point of contact.
- Communicating and liaising with stakeholders and the public via various channels.
- Accurately inputting, updating, and managing data and administrative records.
- Supporting office operations, including meeting room preparation and general upkeep.
- Maintaining building security, visitor access, and adherence to GDPR and other good working practices.
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (Essential To have or achieve level 1 English and Maths and to have taken level 2 English and Maths tests prior to completion of their Apprenticeship. (A) A commitment to completing all vocational assessments and cconsidering personal goals and development that would help achieve them. (A, I) Desirable Level 2 English and Maths (A))
