We're launching our Emergency Gas Responder Apprenticeship programme across Southern England and we're on the lookout for a diverse crew to dive into this 3-year journey. π We'll equip you with all the skills, knowledge, and behaviours you need to be part of our super-skilled operations teams, safely delivering gas to 5.9 million homes and businesses in the south of England and Scotland.

We're currently seeking apprentices to support our engineers by:
- Responding to reported gas emergencies π¨
- Installing and replacing gas meters π οΈ
- Installing, testing, and commissioning internal gas pipework π‘
- Championing health and safety in gas service/repair activities πͺ

- You'll attend college on a block release basis for 3 years (1 week at college every 2 months on site), building your skills towards the Gas Network Craftsperson (ST0205) (England) qualification. π

What you'll need:
- At least 3 National 5 grades A-C or equivalent (3 GCSEs A*-C), including Maths & English. π―
- A serious passion for building a career in the gas network industry. π₯
- Commitment to up to 3 years of training and education. π
- You'll need to be able to drive. If you can't yet, you'll be expected to pass your test within 6-12 months of joining us. π
- During your apprenticeship, you'll attend various training centres, which might be a distance from home. We'll sort out travel and accommodation when you need to stay away. βοΈ
