Ready to kickstart your career in cutting-edge medical research? π Join the University of Oxford as an Apprentice Laboratory and Facilities Assistant in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (CVMed). You'll be a vital part of our team, working alongside Laboratory/Operations Managers and Facilities Teams to keep our scientific and clinical research areas running smoothly and safely. π§ͺ
What You'll Do:
- Keep our labs clean, tidy, and super safe by following all Health and Safety procedures. π§Ό
- Keep an eye out for any issues and report them ASAP! π
- Help out with important safety checks, fire alarm tests, and evacuation drills. π₯β‘οΈπΆββοΈ
Your Apprenticeship Journey:
- Embark on a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship with CSR Scientific Training. π
- Learn on-site at the John Radcliffe Hospital, with occasional trips to the Centre for Human Genetics. πΊοΈ
- Most of your learning will be online, once a week. π»
- This awesome opportunity takes 2 years to complete, with loads of support from the Department, University, and College. π
Who You Are:
- You're super passionate about getting into scientific and medical research and excited about this Oxford apprenticeship! π€©
- You've got passes at 9-4 or A*-C in GCSE Maths, English, and a science subject (or equivalent). π
- No worries if your qualifications aren't exactly right, CSR Scientific Training will assess you. β
