About the role

Audit Junior Apprenticeship Programme ✨

Ready to kickstart your career and make a real impact? We're on the hunt for bright, ambitious individuals who bring loads of initiative, creativity, and curiosity to the table! 💡 If you're eager to learn, grow, and be part of something amazing, this is your chance.

What You'll Gain:

Dive headfirst into valuable hands-on experience that goes way beyond textbooks. You'll be mentored by some of the best minds in the industry and earn a recognised professional qualification. By the end of this programme, you won't just be qualified – you'll be a well-rounded, commercially savvy professional, totally prepared to tackle exciting and challenging responsibilities and drive your own career forward! 🚀

Entry Requirements:

You'll need at least 112 UCAS points from your top three subjects (or an equivalent qualification).

Here, You'll Go Beyond Numbers 📊➡️🌍

We're looking for an Audit Junior who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves solving diverse challenges that lead to meaningful results. At MHA, you'll be surrounded by passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference. Your work in Audit will be hands-on, meaning you'll be involved in real projects, not just observing. While you'll have dedicated mentors, we believe in learning through extensive practical on-the-job training.

Audit is a varied, client-facing career offering the chance to work with a wide range of organisations and truly understand how they operate. You'll split your time between MHA offices and client sites, so expect to work in different settings, meet new people, and represent MHA with professionalism. 🤝 Being comfortable travelling independently and having access to a car can be a plus, as some client locations might be trickier to reach via public transport. From day one, you'll build client relationships, ask insightful questions, and gather the information needed, all while collaborating closely with your audit team. You'll develop a deep understanding of financial information and business processes, conduct testing, and use your curiosity and judgement to explore anything that sparks your interest. If you love meeting people, asking questions, understanding businesses, and enjoy variety, Audit could be the perfect fit for you!

As an Audit Junior, you'll experience the power of collaboration working on real projects with diverse teams, building lasting connections, and learning the fundamentals, including:

  • Working on audit and accounts preparation assignments. 📝
  • Collaborating closely with your mentor on audit planning. 🧠
  • Conducting analytical reviews.
  • Drafting client letters. ✉️
  • Preparing accounts and producing financial statements.
  • Studying towards your Professional Qualification (AAT Level 3, 4 and ACA Level 7). 🎓
