Audit is a super varied, client-facing role! You’ll get to work with all sorts of businesses, understanding their ins and outs. You’ll be based at MHA offices and regularly travel to client sites. 🚗💨 So, be ready to explore different environments, meet new people, and represent MHA like a pro. Having your own car can be a big plus for reaching some client locations.
From day one, you’ll build client relationships, ask smart questions, and gather the info you need, all while teaming up with your audit crew. You’ll sharpen your understanding of financial data and business processes, conduct tests, and use your curiosity and judgement to dig deeper. If you love meeting new people, understanding how businesses tick, and the excitement of working with different clients and locations, Audit might be your perfect fit! 😉
As an Audit Junior, you’ll experience the power of teamwork on real projects, building awesome connections. You'll start by mastering the fundamentals:
- Jumping into audit and accounts preparation assignments with your team. 🤝
- Collaborating with your mentor on audit planning. 📝
- Getting hands-on with analytical reviews. 🔍
- Drafting important client communications. ✉️
- Preparing accounts and producing financial statements. 📈
Plus, you'll be studying towards a professional qualification (AAT Level 3, 4 and/or ACA Level 7)! 🎓
