As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll be at the heart of our practice, providing crucial support to our dentists and ensuring our patients have the best possible experience. You'll learn the ropes of chairside assistance, master the art of sterilising and preparing equipment, handle reception duties, and become a vital part of our patient support system. Your role will be key in delivering efficient, reliable support while upholding the highest standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. 💯
Your day-to-day will be a mix of exciting responsibilities:
- Greeting patients with a smile and managing appointment schedules. 😊
- Handling patient enquiries with professionalism and care.
- Getting surgeries prepped, ensuring instruments are sterilised, and maintaining top-notch infection control according to CQC standards. 🧽
- Assisting our clinicians during treatments and accurately updating patient records (GDPR-ready, of course!). 📝
- Making sure our patients feel comfortable, reassured, and have a positive dental journey. 🥰
- Keeping an eye on stock, equipment, and ensuring our surgeries are always ready to go. 📦
- Maintaining super clean, safe, and fully equipped clinical areas. 🌟
- Always upholding patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. 🤫
- Working closely with dentists and the rest of the team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care. 🤝
