WHAT IS CONSULTING?

YOUR STARTING POINT

to build a solid skillset that could lead you anywhere in Consulting. Every company needs to be confident about its finances – that the current picture is accurate, reporting is spot-on, and they're ready for whatever's next. But numbers are just the beginning. WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING
You'll be in the office or with clients 5 days a week – that’s where the real consulting magic happens! ✨ You'll work with experienced colleagues who will support, challenge, and boost your confidence. Depending on your chosen path, you might be:
- Whipping up statutory financial statements and making sure reporting and compliance are on point.
- Transforming financial data into insights that help clients make smart decisions. 🧠
- Meeting people from all levels of an organization, from the front lines to the top brass. 🧑💼
- Digging into interviews, documents, data analysis, and checking how organizations manage risk.
- Getting involved in the full audit and assurance process, from planning to presenting your findings. 📝
- Delivering practical recommendations to help businesses work smarter.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
No experience? No problem! Don't know your exact career path? That's okay! You definitely don't need all the answers. We're after curious minds 🧐 who aren't afraid to ask questions, want to jump in, and enjoy teamwork.
To be considered, you'll need:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A levels (or equivalent) OR 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers OR an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
- To have the permanent right to live and work in the UK. 🇬🇧
- A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices. ✈️
RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
