About the role
Ready to Kickstart Your Career? 🚀 Join Us in Consulting!
School's out, and you're wondering, "What's next?" 🤔 University is a path, but not the only one! This is your chance to earn cash 💰 and keep learning, tackling challenges you might not have thought possible right after finishing your studies. In consulting, the learning never stops! 📚
What is Consulting?
Businesses today are dealing with new tech 💻, changing rules 📜, economic ups and downs 📈, and higher expectations. They need sharp minds to connect ideas, get how businesses work, and solve problems that aren't always straightforward. That's where you come in! From day one, you'll dive into real client projects, learn from experienced pros, and take on more as you grow. Most of your learning will happen face-to-face – in client meetings, team discussions, and chats with colleagues who are experts at solving tough business puzzles. 🤝
Your Starting Point:
You'll begin in one of our two core areas:
- Finance Function Support: Help organisations feel confident about their money matters. Ensure reports are accurate, standards are met, and the business is prepared for whatever's next. 📊
- Risk and Governance: Help clients navigate and manage risks, ensuring they're working effectively and responsibly. 🛡️
You can explore these areas further here!
What You Could Be Doing:
You'll be hands-on, spending your week in the office or at client sites – that's where the magic happens! ✨ You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who will support, challenge, and help you build confidence. Depending on your chosen path, you might be:
- Getting statutory financial statements ready and helping with financial reporting. 📝
- Turning financial data into insights to help clients make smart decisions.💡
- Chatting with people at all levels of an organisation, from the frontline to the top brass. 🗣️
- Digging into documents, analysing data, and checking how organisations manage risk. 🔍
- Being part of the whole audit and assurance process, from planning to presenting your findings. ✅
- Providing practical advice to help organisations improve how they operate. 👍
What We're Looking For:
No prior experience needed, and you don't need to have your entire career mapped out! We're looking for curious minds who aren't afraid to ask questions, want to get involved, and love working with others.
To Apply, You'll Need:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent qualification). 🎓
- The right to live and work in the UK permanently. 🇬🇧
- A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices when needed. ✈️
*(Please note: General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) are not accepted.)*
Your Journey Starts:
Your start date will be 14 September 2027. This is a mandatory start date, as the training from day one is designed to set you up for an amazing career with us.
What We Offer You:
Get ready for structured training, professional qualifications, and real client experience in a team where your voice matters! We'll support you to build your technical skills, commercial confidence, and shape a career that's truly yours. 🌟
- Study towards the CMDA qualification. 🎓
- Learn through client work, paid study leave, college time, mentoring, and internal development programs. 🧑🏫
- Access a range of lifestyle, health, and wellbeing benefits you can customise. ❤️
Your career begins when you're ready to learn, not when you know everything. 🌱
