What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with audit teams to understand engagement risks, data sources, and the key questions analytics need to answer. 📊
- Prepare, reconcile, and analyze client data to back audit procedures across various sectors. 🗂️
- Execute tailored analytics for specific audit engagements, even tackling non-standard or complex situations. ⚙️
- Develop repeatable analytical approaches that enhance the quality and consistency of audit evidence. ✨
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable outputs for audit teams. 📈
- Grow your audit, accounting, and data expertise while working towards your ACA qualification. 📚
You'll spend most of your time in the office or at client sites, building strong connections with colleagues and clients while getting the support you need to kickstart your career. 🤝
What We're Looking For:
We want ambitious, curious individuals ready to jump in! Here's what you'll need:
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A-levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level). 🎓
- The legal right to live and work in the UK permanently. 🇬🇧
- A genuine passion for technology and data analytics. 💻
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. 🤔
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 🗣️
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work. ✅
- The ability to adapt to change and embrace continuous learning. 🏃♀️
- While not essential, a background in Maths, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Alteryx, SQL, or Python is beneficial but not required.
