As part of our awesome audit team, you'll dive into reviewing clients' financial records, processes, and controls. 🔍 Your role is super important in making sure financial statements are spot-on, boosting trust with everyone involved.
Get ready to smash your Chartered Accountant qualification from day one! 🎓 You’ll be hitting those first exams within months, and don't stress – we've got your back, every step of the way. 🙌
Here’s how you'll be making an impact:
- Jump in from Day 1: You'll be a key team member, getting involved in client work fast. You’ll start as part of a bigger team and then own your own projects. 💪
- Diverse Clients, Big Wins: Work with everyone from awesome owner-managed businesses to massive listed companies, plus charities, pension schemes, and other amazing not-for-profit organisations. 🤝
- Team Vibes: You’ll be mostly office-based or at client sites, giving you the chance to build killer relationships with colleagues and get the support you need to shine early in your career. 💡
What We're Looking For 👀
We reckon passion, personality, and originality are key to thriving at RSM. If you're eager to grow, collaborate, and make a real impact, here's what you'll need:
- Academic Power: Minimum of 112 UCAS points from three A-levels (or equivalent), 104 UCAS points from four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level). 📚
- UK Right to Work: You've got the permanent right to live and work in the UK. 🇬🇧
- Communicate Like a Pro: Stellar written and verbal skills to clearly explain complex stuff to your team and clients. 🗣️
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to dive into data, analyse it, and find smart solutions. 🧠
- People Person: Great interpersonal skills to build connections and keep your cool under pressure. 😎
- Business Brain: A genuine interest in business and commerce, plus awesome organisation and time management skills. ⏱️
- Ready to Roll: Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices when needed. ✈️
