What you'll be doing:

• Being a superstar team player, helping our nursery blossom into an incredible place for children to learn and explore. 🌻
• Upholding our nursery's values, creating a super warm, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere where every child feels safe and sound. 🥰
• With guidance from our awesome Senior and Qualified Practitioners, you'll ensure the well-being and care of all children, supporting their learning journey (including those with extra needs). 🧠
• Helping to plan and prep fun activities that are tailored to each child's unique needs, chatting with parents and setting goals together for awesome communication. 🗣️
• Delivering learning experiences that push kids to grow their confidence and independence in a stimulating setting. 💪
• Building positive relationships and being a brilliant role model for positive behaviour, boosting children's emotional well-being, confidence, and self-esteem. ✨
• Assisting with recording observations, assessments, monitoring, and keeping track of children's learning and development using various methods to help with planning. 📝
• Supervising mealtimes and snacks, and helping with food/bottle prep for babies to ensure safe eating practices. 🍎
• Always following our Allergies and Allergic Reactions Policy, as well as our Sleep Policy, to keep children safe. 🛡️
• Championing inclusion and equality policies and procedures. 🤝
• Being a reliable and flexible member of the team, working collaboratively with everyone. 💯
• Working flexible hours as needed by the Manager. ⏰
• Taking on other duties as directed by the Nursery Manager and Company Directors. 💼

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
• Ensure the well-being and care of children and support their access to learning.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of activities and liaise with parents.
• Assist in recording observations, assessment, and monitoring of children’s learning and development.
• Supervise meals and mealtimes, and adhere to safeguarding policies.
