What You'll Be Doing:
- General Office Support: Be the backbone of our school office, handling everything from photocopying π, scanning π¨οΈ, filing π, and data entry.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases to ensure everything is in its right place. π
- Communications: Help get the word out by assisting with preparing and distributing letters βοΈ, newsletters π°, and other school communications.
- Event Support: Play a key role in making our school events, trips, and activities a success by providing administrative support. π
- Form Processing: Assist with processing forms, applications, and permissions β keeping everything organized and moving. β
- Mail Management: Handle incoming and outgoing post efficiently. π¬
- Reception & Customer Service: Be the friendly, professional first point of contact for visitors, parents, and carers, offering a warm welcome. π
- Phone Duty: Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries clearly, and relay messages accurately and promptly. π
- Visitor Management: Assist visitors while adhering strictly to safeguarding and visitor procedures. π‘οΈ
- Attendance: Support the administration of attendance processes, helping to keep track of who's who. attendance πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ
- Pupil Records: Assist with maintaining pupil records and essential information. π§βπ
- Admissions Support: Help prepare paperwork for new admissions and transitions, making the process seamless. π
- Parent Communication: Support communication with parents regarding attendance, events, and activities. π¬
- System Usage: Accurately and confidentially use school management information systems. π»
- Filing & Reporting: Maintain electronic filing systems and produce simple reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications. π
- Data Protection: Ensure all data protection procedures are followed meticulously. π
- Team Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with teaching and support staff to achieve common goals. π€
- Support Colleagues: Be a team player and support office colleagues during busy periods. πͺ
- Training: Attend meetings and training sessions as required to keep your skills sharp. π
- Other Duties: Undertake any other duties that are appropriate to the role and your level of responsibility. β
