Warehouse Apprentice 📦
Ready to kickstart your career in logistics? Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Apprentice! You'll dive into a range of essential activities, learning the ropes from day one. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and become a vital part of our operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Goods In Processing ✅: Be the first point of contact for incoming stock. You'll process receipts, ensure parts arrive in top condition and meet all paperwork demands. Plus, you'll be responsible for storing and distributing components, parts, and materials correctly.
- Stock Control 📊: Master the art of warehouse admin. You'll monitor shelf-life items, manage stock and tyre rotation, and ensure compliance with COSHH regulations as per HSE guidelines.
- Picking & Packing 🛍️: Get ready to move! You'll physically select parts to support our engineering team and meticulously record all part transactions using our MRP system. Ensuring an auditable process is key, and you'll also be on hand to deliver parts as needed.
- General Warehouse Tasks 🛠️: From operating forklifts (if you're qualified/capable! 🤩) to keeping our warehouse clean and tidy, you'll contribute to a smooth-running operation. You'll also lend a hand to other Supply Chain functions when things get busy.
- Dispatch 🚚: Prepare shipments of parts and paperwork for our vendors and customers, accurately recording all dispatches.
- Checks & Stock Counting 🔍: Be meticulous! You'll conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checks as required, ensuring our inventory is always on point.
