What you'll be doing:
- Helping deliver engaging activities that build confidence, resilience, independence, and awesome communication skills. 💪
- Building positive connections with young people, making sure our spaces are super safe, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone. 🤗
- Getting involved in group sessions, outdoor adventures, creative projects, team challenges, and personal growth activities. 🎨
- Being a listening ear, empowering young people to share their thoughts and ideas. 🗣️
- Working alongside experienced staff to support young people facing challenges with school, wellbeing, confidence, relationships, or family. 🤝
- Supporting our Year 6 to Year 7 transition programmes – helping them navigate that big move to secondary school! 🎒
- Getting stuck in with prepping resources, welcoming everyone, keeping track of who’s there, and ensuring activities run smoothly and safely. ✅
- Collaborating with schools, parents, carers, and community partners to create the best outcomes for young people. 🏫
- Upholding safeguarding standards, maintaining professional boundaries, and speaking up if you have any concerns. 💯
- Keeping accurate records using our digital systems. 💻
- Gathering feedback from young people and sharing your brilliant ideas to make our programmes even better. ✨
- Attending team meetings, supervision, and training sessions. 📚

Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of CHEXS programmes for children and young people.
- Build positive, appropriate relationships with young people and help create safe, welcoming and inclusive activities.
- Prepare resources, maintain attendance records, and help activities run safely and effectively.
- Work alongside experienced staff to support young people, including those experiencing challenges.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and keep accurate records using digital and case management systems.
