Fabrication & Welding Assistant 🛠️

Ready to get your hands dirty and learn the ins and outs of metalwork? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our fabrication team! This is your chance to gain practical experience in a dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Material Prep: Helping get materials ready for action – think measuring, marking, and cutting 📏✂️.
• Assembly: Putting pieces together before they get welded, ensuring everything is just right! 💪
• Welding Support: You'll be part of the welding process, assisting with setting up equipment and holding components in place. You'll also have the opportunity to observe and learn both MIG and TIG welding techniques. ⚡

Key responsibilities

• Assist with material preparation, marking out, cutting, and basic forming
• Assemble components prior to welding
• Assist with the set-up of welding equipment
• Hold, position, and tack components
• Observe and learn MIG and TIG welding techniques

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade 4/C or above), Maths (grade 4/C or above))
