What You'll Be Doing: 📋
- Compliance Administration:
- Process and review candidate compliance docs like a pro. 🧐
- Make sure all pre-employment checks are ticked off, following our rules and the law. ✅
- Keep our recruitment and workforce systems sparkling with accurate compliance records. ✨
- Keep an eye on expiry dates and sort out renewals smoothly. 📅
- Pre-Employment Screening:
- Verify right-to-work documents – no loopholes here! ✋
- Manage Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks from start to finish. 🔍
- Conduct employment history and reference checks to get the full picture. 🤝
- Validate professional registrations and qualifications (like NMC, HCPC, GMC). 🎓
- Ensure occupational health clearances are sorted before anyone starts. ⚕️
- Candidate and Stakeholder Support:
- Be the friendly face for candidates with compliance questions. 👋
- Help out recruitment consultants, hiring managers, and agencies with their compliance queries. 💬
- Guide everyone on what documents they need and how the onboarding works. 💡
- Chase up outstanding information from candidates within our agreed timelines. 🏃♀️
- Audit and Quality Assurance:
- Regularly audit candidate files to keep our compliance standards sky-high. 💯
- Spot and fix any missing or incomplete documents. 🛠️
- Help with internal and external compliance audits. ⚖️
- Support us in meeting accreditation standards, including NHS and healthcare frameworks. 🏥
- Reporting and Record Management:
- Create clear compliance reports and trackers. 📊
- Monitor key compliance metrics and flag any risks to management. 🚩
- Handle personal and sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality, respecting GDPR and Data Protection. 🔒
- Maintain both electronic and paper records according to our retention policies. 📂
