This is your chance to team up with pharmacists and healthcare pros, gaining the skills and knowledge to become a registered Pharmacy Technician! ๐ฏ
What you'll be doing:
- Safely and accurately managing, ordering, receiving, and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products. ๐ฆ
- Giving patients top-notch advice on their prescriptions and over-the-counter meds, knowing when to call in the experts. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Keeping the pharmacy running smoothly, from daily operations to stock control and quality checks. โ
- As you grow, you'll get to supervise and support other pharmacy team members. ๐ค
- Helping to train and mentor new colleagues. ๐ฑ
- Maintaining awesome standards through audits and feedback. ๐
Your Apprenticeship & Qualification:
You'll be working towards a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (that's like A-levels!). Once you've nailed it, you'll be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)! ๐ Training is a mix of hands-on experience and dedicated study. ๐

Key responsibilities
- Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
- Providing personโcentred advice to patients on prescription and overโtheโcounter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Supporting the dayโtoโday running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
- Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
