About the role
We're looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team and help keep our pharmacy running smoothly! 🚀 If you're organized, detail-oriented, and ready to learn, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
💊 Dispensing medications to patients with accuracy and care.
🛍️ Assisting customers with over-the-counter sales of non-prescription items.
✍️ Checking and monitoring prescription slips to ensure everything is in order.
🛡️ Upholding health and safety standards to create a safe environment for everyone.
📦 Rotating stock to ensure freshness and availability.
💻 Utilizing patient record systems and smart cards for efficient data management.
📊 Performing data entry related to medications.
🏷️ Labelling and dispensing medications with precision.
🤝 Working collaboratively in a team environment and liaising with doctors, surgery staff, and other health professionals.
📚 Completing your apprenticeship work on time and to the best of your ability.
We need someone with great accuracy and attention to detail to be successful in this role. 💪
