This is your chance to dive deep into the world of luxury lighting, working alongside our super-talented designers and skilled craftspeople. You'll be the creative force behind 3D models and technical drawings, mastering the art of SolidWorks and building expertise in lighting design, engineering, and manufacturing. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

  • Creating epic 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Collaborating with experienced pros to understand the ins and outs of lighting design, materials, production, 3D printing, and traditional craftsmanship.
  • Spending focused time at the computer, honing your IT and SolidWorks skills. 💻

We're looking for someone who:

  • Loves diving into details and is all about precision. 🎯
  • Enjoys the thrill of problem-solving and is always eager to learn new things. 🤔
  • Is comfortable working closely with our workshop and manufacturing teams. 🤝
  • Has a solid understanding of SolidWorks basics (parts, assemblies, drawings).

  • Engineering Design Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Comprehensive Company Training Plan & Assessment.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Development Knowledge (1 day/week for 2 years at college). 📚
  • Development Competence Qualification (in the workplace).
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if needed).
  • End Point Assessment upon completion.

  • Support the design of bespoke chandeliers and luxury lighting using SolidWorks

  • Develop bespoke chandeliers, decorative lighting and architectural metalwork
  • Develop specialist skills in lighting design, engineering and manufacture
  • Work closely with experienced designers, craftspeople, workshop and manufacturing teams
